Schedule Of Activities:

Description Of Walk:

On this stroll through gardens and meadows, we will focus on what to think about when planning a natural area or garden for butterflies. We will talk about what butterflies need to survive, what gardeners need to know, and problems some gardeners experience when planting a butterfly garden. We will discuss whether butterfly houses work or not, as well as tips for plant selections. Oh, yes, and we shall identify butterflies! Butterflies of Tennessee will be available for purchasing and signing before the walk. This book lists many specific plants known to be productive for butterflies.
